Love to fall from thousands of feet above the earth, but don’t dare to do so? No worries, Las Vegas has something for you – Indoor Skydiving!
Located at 200 Convention Center Drive, just off The Strip, Indoor Skydiving is one of the top things to do in Las Vegas that gives you the enjoyment of falling from a plane, but doesn’t scare you to death!
You are given a brief training and then you will have to put on the flight gear. You better wear clothes in which you will feel comfortable; e.g. a short-sleeved shirt and shorts. Remember, the temperature in the room is hot.
How Does That Work?
A fan creates winds in vertical direction with a speed of 120 miles per hour in a padded room and you won’t plunge down, but will soar up with the wind! The floor is netted, so you need not worry. And your enjoyment will reach the maximum extent when the propellers will swing to their fullest and you will float at the greatest height from the floor!
You will get three chances to fly and it takes about 1 hour. There is nothing to worry during this activity, even if you haven’t done anything like this before, you don’t have any experience and whatever age you are; there is an instructor and you will get sheer enjoyment and nothing else!
Only a few things to remember are:
- Children below 18 should be accompanied by a guardian;
- Soft-soled shoes with socks are compulsory;
- Open-toed shoes and sandals are not allowed;
- And, your weight should not be below 40 pounds.
There are also photos, DVDs and flash drives of your flights for sale so that you can show them to your friends and make them envy or praise!
It’s open on all days from 10 am to 8 pm.
