4 Places to Get Unique Las Vegas Sushi

Las Vegas is famous for its buffets, but another well-known secret is the All You Can Eat (AYCE) Sushi.  For around $20-30 depending on the place and the time, you can stuff your face with as much seaweed salad, spicy tuna,or tempura as you want.  Or, if you’re trying to save some money (and your stomach), you can opt for the ever-popular poke bowls or sushi burritos at locations around town.  But we aren’t stopping there.  Check out this list of four places where you can find unique, delicious Las Vegas sushi-style options.

Unique Sushi Options in Las Vegas

Yard House

Let’s be honest – a bowl is boring and a burrito is too small.  Enter: the stack. Yard House offers three sushi stacks–the California Roll, with crispy rice, tomatoes, avocado, cucumber, serranos, masago, nori, mirin soy, and cilantro, and the Spicy Tuna Roll, with seared rare ahi, avocado, edamame, cucumber, and wasabi soy sauce.  Or, skip the fillings and go straight for the jugular, with the Poke Stack – marinated raw ahi, wontons, avocado, and wasabi soy sauce.  You’ll also find Poke Nachos here, with avocado, serranos, green onions, nori, sesame seeds, a variety of sauces, and wontons, as well as Ahi Sashimi, Ahi Salads, and more.  If you’re looking for a unique spin on sushi, Yard House is the place to be.

Black Sheep

If stacks of raw fish still aren’t adventurous enough for you, check out Black Sheep, where they offer Salmon Skin Tacos, made with salmon belly tartare, tabiko, smoked shishito peppers, and cilantro. They’re crispy, they’re delicious, and they’re full of flavor.  Black Sheep also offers ahi tuna tartare, with jalapeno tapioca crisp, sesame seeds, chili citrus oil, jalapenos, and cilantro.

Jaburritos

Our dreams have finally come true – we can have sushi after our sushi. Jaburritos at The LINQ Promenade has secret, not-on-the-menu sushi cupcakes. They’re made from crispy wonton shells, and loaded with sticky rice, salmon or crab, sriracha, spicy mayo, and unagi sauce. Best. Dessert. Ever.

Jjanga Steak & Sushi

Still not impressed? Okay, this one has to win you over – it’s big, it’s loaded with fillings, and best of all, it’s deep fried.  It’s a sushi burger, brought to you by Jjanga, and comes packed with ahi tuna, crab, seaweed salad, and more.  All that deliciousness comes sandwiched between two, deep fried “buns” of sticky rice, coated in panko breadcrumbs.  It’s served with tempura veggies, and might just be the best dang burger you’ve ever tasted.
