5 Bars to Check Out on Fremont Street

Without checking out Fremont Street, a trip to Las Vegas wouldn’t be complete. Fremont Street is not just a pedestrian mall, it is a renowned attraction of Vegas that has a casino, restaurants, bars, etc. to offer a fun day or night out. Bars here are also some of the best in Vegas. It is highly recommended that you check them out.

Following are 5 bars to check out on Fremont Street:

Commonwealth

Immersed in character and style with crystal chandeliers and wood furnishings, Commonwealth sets itself apart from other bars on Fremont Street with a deep beer selection, the Laundry Room (secretive bar within a bar), and expertly made cocktails. The upstairs patio of Commonwealth has its own bar. It offers perfect 360-degree views for soaking in the surrounding neon lights and people watching.

Beauty Bar

Beauty Bar is not your typical bar; it is a place like no other. The owners retrofitted the bar with many rare and unique items. From elaborate mirrored vanities to retro deluxe hair dryer chairs, the furnishings inside Beauty Bar create the perfect vibe of a 1950s-era salon. The bar has two stages that offer live music every evening. They hold karaoke on Mondays and Nickel Beer Night is on Tuesdays.

The Griffin

The location of The Griffin makes this bar a beloved anti-Strip hangout for locals and hipsters who are looking for a low-key evening. The bar offers a relaxed setting that is ideal for guests to hang out and enjoy a reasonably priced beer or a cool cocktail without having to worry about a dress code. Charismatic, rich décor, including inviting fire pits, dim lighting, cozy banquet seating, and barrel-vaulted brick ceilings create a mellow, warm environment that is perfect for a night of socializing and drinking. DJs and the jukebox offer a unique mix of old-school classics, while a generous pouring and the well-stocked bar promise to please.

Oak & Ivy

Oak & Ivy is all about hand-crafted cocktails and whiskey. High quality ingredients keep the tastes flavorful and strong. Seasonal, fresh ingredients combined with homemade mixers and garnishes deliver a great drink every time. Rare spirits, beers, and barrel-aged cocktails guarantee that you will savor every last sip of your drink. They offer plenty of classics as well. For example, a Mint Julep made with a generously oaked Woodford Reserve Bourbon and fresh mint. Apart from this, you will also find an extensive selection of American Whiskeys that will give you one more reason to keep coming back to Oak & Ivy.

Atomic Liquors

From its patio, Atomic Liquors offers patrons the chance to watch the crowd passing by on Fremont Street. No-frills and inexpensive, Atomic Liquors is the place for a large selection of craft beers as well as a well-stocked bar. It is one of the oldest freestanding bars in Las Vegas. The bar was renovated not long ago, but it wasn’t a complete re-do. The renovation was done only to give things a face-lift. Atomic Liquors is one of those bars that give a ‘dive’ vibe.
