5 Escape Rooms in Las Vegas You Have to Try

Escape Rooms – immersive games that require participants to solve puzzles and clues in order to “escape” a locked room – are all the rage.  From Hungary to Japan to the US, they’ve swept the world, and for good reason – they’re dang fun.  Here’s a list of five escape rooms in Las Vegas.

Can You Get Out Alive?

Escape Rooms

Escape Rooms has two options, both in story format. In The Basement, you have 45 minutes with your friends to escape serial killer Edward Tandy using clues around the room. With only a 12.5% success rate, this game is incredibly difficult to solve.  The Study is a bit easier with a 35% success rate. It’s a continuation of The Basement, where you’ve made it to Tandy’s study. Here, you’ll learn more about Tandy, and work on escaping with your life!

Escapology

One of the great things about Escapology is the number of room options available.  Each is designed with its own scenario, from a virus outbreak to a wild west shootout.  The rooms range in difficulty, so you can choose the level right for you and your friends. Each game is suitable for 2 – 6 people, and you may wind up on a team with total strangers! Can you work together and escape?

Lost Games

Lost Games currently only has one story, but it’s a chilling one.  Poisoned and locked in an insane asylum, you have one hour to find the antidote and escape before you’re dead.  The room rates at a scare factor of 2/5 and a difficulty level of 4/5. A bonus is that rooms are booked by group, so it’ll just be you and your friends! The room requires at least 2 and no more than 8 people at a time.

XTerious

At XTerious, you can choose from 5 different rooms, ranging from the Curse of Mapuche to Bugsy’s (Siegel) Nightmare. They also accommodate large groups, AND even offer the change for two teams to go head-to-head in competition.  With two identical rooms, teams can race to the finish line and see who emerges victorious…

Escape or Die

Escape or Die is a Zombie Apocalypse escape room, with three options ranging from easy to hard, and not creepy to ‘thriller.’ Choose from Next Civilization (easy, not creepy), Zombie Takeover (hard, creepy), or Biohazard (medium, thriller). Private groups are available for a minimum of 4 players.
