Lion Habitat Ranch
Located on Bermuda Road, this 26 year-old ranch is home to lions, giraffes, and other animals. Unlike at a zoo, where you only get to look, here you can get up close and personal with the animals! Feed the giraffes or lions, or even host a party in the Sanctuary’s event space! You can also take a behind the scenes tour and watch a session between a lion and the trainers.
Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ
Also noteworthy, Henderson is home to some much loved, super delicious American fare, and Lucille’s is the place. From pork sandwiches to shrimp, fried okra, to burgers and expertly made BBQ, this eatery does not disappoint. Finally, if you’re in Henderson, make sure you check out The District, where you’ll find boutiques, designer-wear, restaurants, and more. In the Casino, pick up a player’s card and kill some time on the slots or at the table. And, bonus: go to the top of the parking garage and take a look back at the beautiful city of Las Vegas. It’s an incredible view.
