Summerlin is a great place to get away from the craze of The Strip.  There’s no shortage of shopping, parks, and, of course, food. Here are some of our favorite Italian places in Summerlin!

Awesome Pizza in Summerlin

Dom DeMarco’s Pizzeria and Bar

First of all, if you haven’t been to Dom DeMarco’s, you’re missing out. Order your pizza New York Style, with thin crust straight from Dom DiFara in Brooklyn.  Or you can get it with thick Sicilian-style crust.  Most noteworthy is the the Di Fara special. It boasts San Marzano tomatoes, pepperoni, mozzarella, grana padano, and basil. Above all, you better taste Gram’s Meatballs, made with veal, pork, and beef. Located at 9785 West Charleston Blvd.

Grimaldi’s Pizzeria

Enjoy a warm night out on the patio at Grimaldi’s Pizzeria.  Eat calzones made with hand-tossed dough stuffed with ricotta and mozzarella. Likewise, try a margherita, pesto, or white pizza for vegetarian options, or the Don or Brooklyn Bridge pizza for meat eaters. Moreover, they use a coal brick oven, and provide wine pairings for many dishes, as well as an extensive beer menu. Located at 750 S. Rampart Blvd Ste. 7.

Biaggio’s Pizzeria

At Biaggio’s Pizzeria, you can choose from any number of specialty pizzas or create your own! Consequently, you can go overboard! Even more amazing are the appetizers and sides like jumbo cheese ravioli, salads (including antipasto).  Seems like a great time to chow down on a calzone or stromboli! They even offer gluten free options for pizza, pasta, and ravioli. Located at 4235 South Fort Apache Rd #160.

Niko’s Pizza

Niko’s Pizza, owned by two brothers, is committed to making the best pizza you can stuff in your face.  Hence, they have all the traditional options. Additionally, they have unique things like monkey bread with mozzarella and beef or sausage. Also try the caprese flatbread, sweet and sour hawaiian pizza, wings, and more. Located at 4555 S Fort Apache Rd Ste 112.

Due Forni

Pizzas and other dishes at Due Forni are made in two unique ovens.  Because of this, they bake their traditional Neapolitan pizzas  for a max of 90 seconds in a 900 degree oven. As a result, the crust a chewy inside and crispy outside. Or, check our their burgers, paninis salads, and more.  You might even like them better…almost. Located at 3555 S Town Center Dr, Ste 105

Rocco’s Italian Deli and Pizzeria

Rocco’s Italian Deli is more than just pizza. Certainly noteworthy are their delicious marsala Fries, tossed in sweet marsala wine with mushrooms and melted swiss cheese. In addition, enjoy rice balls, lobster stromboli, super eggplant supreme; and more. Likewise, enjoy hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, and entrees.
