Holiday Attractions in Las Vegas

It may be cold in the valley, but that’s no reason to stay inside! Especially not when there are so many fantastic holiday sights to see! Here are some of our favorite holiday attractions in Las Vegas.

Holiday Attractions Off The Strip

Ethel M Botanical Cactus Gardens

Every year, the cactus gardens at Ethel M Chocolate Factory become awash in a over a million colorful lights! The gardens are free and open to the public until Jan 1st, but don’t miss out on a stellar cup of hot cocoa as you peruse the cacti. (Closed on Christmas Day.)

Mystic Park Falls at Sam’s Town

Mystic Park is fun year round, but the holidays make it extra special! Lit up for holidays, this unique attraction is fun for the whole family.  See animatronic animals, “snow”-covered mountain peaks, white trees, polar bears, and more. If you’re over 21, have a drink in the middle of it all at the bar! And don’t miss the laser show, daily at 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, 8pm, and 10pm.

Holiday at The Park

If you’re looking for something more interactive, check out the Holiday events at The Park on The Strip! There’s an ice skating rink, traditional chalets, shopping, food, drinks, games, and more. Monday, Thursday, and Sunday nights are movie nights (beginning at 5pm); Wednesday features live music, and Friday and Saturday are DJ Skate Night.  Get a picture with Santa, do a little holiday shopping, or simply relax with your best mates at a bar and take in the holiday cheer.

The Silverton Winter Wonderland

The Silverton has multiple holiday events to check out.  Winter Wonderland, which runs from Dec 14 to Dec 30, features holiday light displays, an ice skating rink, the Jupiter Express Train Ride, a giant fun slide, holiday characters, rides, food vendors, and more! Santa, of course, will be in attendance. The Silverton also hosts Breakfast with Santa at the Buffet on Dec 10th, and Underwater Santa on Saturdays and Sundays at the Aquarium.

On The Strip

Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Garden

Until January 1st, the Conservatory and Gardens at The Bellagio will be decked out for the season in red, green, and gold! Take in candy canes, a Christmas tree, and elves made of flowers at this spectacular display. This year features a White Fur from Mt Shasta, and an Ice Princess with a dress made of 1800 hydrangea and orchid stems. Free.
