Holiday Celebrations at The LINQ
It’s officially December, the tree is up, and the party is on. If you’re looking for something festive to do, check out The LINQ Promenade! It’s got a 35-foot, fully decorated tree, complete with over 2,000 lights. You’ll do a double take as you walk through this winter wonderland, soft white flakes falling on your jacket and no, it’s not real snow, but the effect is the same! (Though, you might not want to catch it on your tongue.)
Throughout the month of December, the Promenade will put on shows of all sorts, from music to dance to more Vegas-style entertainment (showgirls). Show times are: Dec. 1st – 17th: Thursday – Sunday evenings at 6 pm, 7 pm, 8 pm and 9 pm; and Dec. 21st – 30th, daily at 6 pm, 7 pm, 8 pm and 9 pm.
Grab a meal outside (this is still Vegas, after all, and the weather’s lovely) and watch the festivities before heading over to Sprinkles Cupcakes or Ghiradelli for a mouth-watering dessert.
And, of course, don’t miss the opportunity to ride the High Roller. It gets expensive at Christmas and New Years, so go on an off-day and appreciate the stunning views of Las Vegas from high above The Strip.
