The El Cortez Hotel and Casino is situated in Downtown Las Vegas and it is one of the oldest Las Vegas hotels. It opened for the first time over 75 years ago, and it has managed to retain a lot of its old charm and appeal. It still looks at charming and as quaint as it used to be. The origins of this pizza shop can be traced to Buffalo, New York. You can try some of the delicious pizza at the shop located inside the El Cortez. The menu items are prepared daily, so you don’t worry about staleness. You can choose from antipasto, pizza by the slice, sub sandwiches, and whole pizzas.

Head to The Parlour Bar & Lounge for Drinks

The members of the staff at the main hotel are not the friendly ones; the workers at this bar located in the El Cortez are, too. The bartender makes it a point to remember your name and your usual order. They also have a commendable selection of drinks and a warm and lovely ambience. They also have their Happy Hour everyday from 4-6pm where they sell $5 appetizers, 2-for-1 cocktails, and half-price draft beer.

Enjoy Some Live Entertainment

At the Parlour Bar, there are some live shows held weekly. On Wednesdays, catch “Nash Vegas” from 6-10pm. Other shows and sports viewing hold on other days of the week like Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. On some Fridays and Saturdays, you can enjoy piano music by Ray Horvarth.
