Winter Has Come to Las Vegas [Premiere Parties for GOT Season 8 in Las Vegas]

GOT Season 8 in Las Vegas

What were you doing August 27, 2017?

Think back, because that was when the most recent episode of Game of Thrones aired…

That’s right. It has been one year, seven months, and eighteen days since we were last in Westeros. Although we haven’t had to wait through a thousand-year winter, we can’t wait for August 14, 2019.

The final season is already getting some publicity Vegas style as the dragons took over the Bellagio fountains two weeks before the premiere. So, it’s no surprise that season 8 premiere parties are popping up all over Las Vegas.

When Sean Bean first warned us “Winter is Coming” back in 2011, no one knew how Game of Thrones would enrapture the minds of millions of viewers worldwide. We have come to love some characters, hate some characters, and curse George R.R. Martin whenever either died.

Yet, there is still so much more to see pan out. You do not want to miss out on the answers to the questions you’ve had for almost ten years. So, check out GOT Season 8 in Las Vegas at one of these awesome venues.

I Drink and I Know Things

First, the Ultimate Game of Thrones Premiere Party at Hofbrauhaus boasts live music, Hofbrau Brews, Game of Thrones-inspired cocktails from Tito’s Vodka, photo ops, food, and the opportunity to watch the season premiere on huge TVs. Imagine the entire hall of the Hofbrauhaus silent as you watch the White Walkers approach Winterfell for the first time. We have goosebumps, too.

*Note: this event has been sold out.*

Next, head downtown to the Arts District and to the Millenium Fandom Bar. Doors open at 5:00 p.m., but you’ll want to get there early. Your cover fee is a $5 drink voucher. The bar will be showing both the 6:00 p.m. premiere and the 9:00 pm replay. With screens in every room of the bar, you won’t miss a single moment of the bloodshed. Feel free to come in costume, but “Cosplay or not, let’s Fandom!”

On Fremont Street, The Nerd will be hosting a $3K Cosplay Contest the evening of the premiere. Come in costume boasting allegiance to your house and you could win your part of $3K in cash and prizes. Game of Thrones themed cocktails and official Game of Thrones beer and wine will be flowing from your flagon. Be a spectator to REAL medieval fighting by competitors in full suits of armor (no Tournament of Kings theatrics here!)
