Unique Italian Restaurants on The Las Vegas Strip

If you’re hangry for some pizza or other Italian fare, check out these Las Vegas Italian restaurants and you’ll feel like you’re in Venice in no time!

Il Fornaio – New York, New York

Il Fornaio in New York New York is an upscale spot for delicious Italian fare. With private and semi-private dining areas, it’s a great place for a long awaited get together or romantic evening.  Menu items include scaloppine al carciofi e limone, a thinly pounded veal sauteed with sliced baby artichokes and lemon, and an antipasti with prosciutto, salame, caprese, bruschetta, and grilled artichoke.  Also make sure to check out the bakery cafe, and especially the soffiato al cioccolato, an almond hazelnut chocolate cake with caramel sea salt gelato.

Otto Encoteca Pizzaria – The Venetian

Otto Encoteca Pizzaria at the Venetian serves Neapolitan style pizzas, ranging from classics to modern twists.  Order a traditional Margherita or the more adventurous Carbonara, with guanciale and fresh eggs. They also offer cheeses, sharable plates, desserts, and sorbets. Located on a quiet “street,” the Venetian atmosphere lends just another layer of authenticity to this fantastic restaurant.

Scarpetta – The Cosmopolitan

Scarpetta at the Cosmopolitan, run by Chef Scott Conant, offers a delicious menu of Sicilian-style dishes. They also offer vegetarian and gluten free menus, as well as a cheese menu and tasting menu.  And don’t forget about dessert, with items such as the coconut panna cotta, caramelized pineapple & guava ‘soup’. You’ll never want to leave.

Giada – The Cromwell

Chef Giada de Laurentiis’ self-named restaurant features traditional Italian cuisine with CAlifornia influences. She offers healthier options, as well as vegan and gluten free choices. Giada features an antipasti station, the first of its kind on The Strip.  You can also watch the chefs through the open kitchen as they prepare pastas, breads, and desserts. With room for over 250 guests and a private dining area, Giada’s is a great location for private parties.
