Buckle up, because it’s going to be a wild ride!

Vegas Immersive District

Area 15 was already one of the newest and most unique attractions in Las Vegas, and it’s getting a 35-acre expansion that will be known as the “Vegas Immersive District.” The official press release notes that it will have:

  • 100,000-square-feet of horror themed immersive entertainment
  • 418,000-square-feet of retail space
  • 320,000-square-feet of office space
  • 200 hotel rooms
  • 585 multi-family housing units

While numbers are impressive and all, the Vegas Immersive District is all about unique fun. The expansion will house Universal Horror Unleashed, will have attractions based on Universal’s classic monsters, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Scarecrow: The Reaping, and The Exorcist: Believer.

Universal Horror Unleashed will be the centerpiece of the expansion and will allow visitors to experience their deepest frights any time of the year. While it’s not for the faint of heart, it will surely be one of the best new Las Vegas attractions of 2025.

The “Friends” Experience: The One in Vegas

Could we be any more excited for “The One in Vegas”?!? Fans of the smash television series Friends will definitely want to head to the MGM Grand when “The One in Vegas” opens in 2025. The attraction will have sets, props, costumes, and presentations that celebrate the worldwide phenomenon, including accurate recreations of:

  • Monica’s apartment
  • Chandler’s and Joey’s apartment
  • The wedding chapel where Ross and Rachel drunkenly married
  • The fountain from the Friends intro
  • The stairwell from the infamous “Pivot!!!” scene

Rumor has it that the MGM Grand will start serving Rachel’s famous English trifle (tastes like feet!) to celebrate the attraction’s opening. Whether that happens or not, “The One in Vegas” is sure to have you saying “Oh…my…gawd!” in your best Janice voice.

New Las Vegas Attractions Culinary Edition #1: Netflix Bites

Set to open on February 20, 2025 at the MGM Grand, Netflix Bites is a themed restaurant that will serve food and drinks based on the most popular Netflix movies and series. Netflix fans know that the service has numerous shows hosted by celebrity chefs and mixologists, so don’t be surprised to see appearances from people like David Chang, Kate Gerwin, Nadiya Hussain, Ann Kim, Jacques Torres, and more.

Of course you should also expect delicious dishes and libations inspired by popular Netflix programs, such as Stranger Things, Bridgerton, Squid Game, Chef’s Table, Dinner Time Live with David Chang, and more. Personally, we’re hoping for an incredible Alucard’s Bloody Mary based on Castlevania.

New Las Vegas Attractions: Music Residencies

New Las Vegas Attractions | Motley Crue Residency

Las Vegas is set to welcome a dazzling array of new musical residencies, featuring some of the biggest names in entertainment. From hair metal icons to boy band legends, these artists are ready to bring their unique sounds and electrifying performances to the Entertainment Capital of the World. Some of the residencies we’re most excited for include:

  • Mötley Crüe: The Las Vegas Residency at Dolby Live in Park MGM (March 28)
  • The Best of All Worlds Tour – The Residency, featuring Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony, Joe Satriani, and Kenny Aronoff at Dolby Live in Park MGM (April 30)
  • Joan Jett & The Blackhearts in the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay (June 13)
  • New Kids on the Block: The Right Stuff at Dolby Live in Park MGM (June 20)

Bob Marley Hope Road

Produced by Bob Marley’s children, Cedella and Ziggy Marley, Bob Marley Hope Road at Mandalay Bay is an audio-visual experience that celebrates the life and music of the legendary reggae artist. In addition to giving attendees insights into the man himself, this attraction also aims to teach people about unique aspects of Jamaican culture.

Bob Marley Hope Road will also have unique day and night shows. During the daytime, the attraction promises “an illuminating, shared, multi-sensory experience” that attendees can absorb at their own pace. At night, the show transforms into a spectacle with “striking visuals, sets, and special effects that put showgoers center stage as they sing, dance, and celebrate Bob Marley’s music and its impact on the world.”

Whether you prefer the day or night show, Bob Marley Hope Road is a wonderful excuse to head over to Mandalay Bay.

New Las Vegas Attractions Culinary Edition #2 BLVD

Las Vegas has always been known for excellent shopping, and the upcoming BLVD aims to be the best shopping destination on the Strip. While that’s exciting on its own, Things to Do in Las Vegas is amped for the BLVD since it will have the world’s largest In-N-Out Burger

The In-N-Out at the BLVD will be a multi-floor eatery featuring the company’s fresh and famous burgers, fries, and milkshakes. Current plans are for an indoor dining room larger than 8,000 square feet and an outdoor patio larger than 2,500 square feet.

We’re massive In-N-Out fans and can’t wait to see this monstrosity when it opens later this year. Our “secret menu” recommendation: a Double-Double mustard-grilled with whole fried onions and extra spread, plus Animal Style fries well-done with a Flying Dutchman.

The Evil Knievel Museum

Set to open in the Arts District later this year, The Evil Knievel Museum is coming back to Las Vegas from its current home in Topeka, KS. Considering that the legendary stuntman became a worldwide phenomenon after his ridiculous motorcycle jump at Caesar’s Palace, having his museum in Sin City makes total sense. Fans of the man and his stunts will get to see:

  • Largest Collection of Evel Knievel Memorabilia: See original jump bikes, leathers, helmets, and personal items.
  • Interactive 4D Virtual Reality Jump: Experience Evel’s thrill firsthand, without the risk.
  • Interactive Broken Bones X-Ray Exhibit: Understand the physical toll Evel’s stunts took.
  • Interactive Jump Planner: Design your own jump and learn the physics involved.
  • Evel Knievel Movie Theater: Watch documentaries and footage of Evel’s legendary jumps.
  • Knievel’s Crash Car: See the vehicle from his famous Wembley Stadium jump.
  • Knievel’s Harley Davidson Sportster Trike: One of his personal rides on display.
  • “Big Red” Mack Truck: Explore Evel’s custom-built truck.

Things to Do in Las Vegas does not recommend jumping over the fountain at Caesar’s Palace with a motorcycle, but we wholeheartedly recommend paying a visit to The Evil Knievel Museum when it comes back to Las Vegas this year.
