5 Fun Things to Do with Kids in Las Vegas

If you’re coming to Vegas with children, you can’t spend all your time on The Strip, gambling and drinking. Fortunately, there are tons of fun things to do with kids in Vegas, including water parks, chocolate factories, museums, and more!

Kid-Friendly Itinerary

Wet n Wild Water Park

Especially during the summer months, Wet ‘n Wild Water Park is fun for the whole family. There are plenty of slides, pools, and attractions. There are places to eat, shopping to do, and specific places for younger kids to hang out and splash around.

Nevada Southern Railway

The Nevada Southern Railway is a great place to take the kiddos. You can see old trains, learn about how they’re built, listen to the history of trains and railways in the 1930s, and more. There’s also story time for the younger ones, and you can even play conductor!

M&Ms World

The Strip isn’t all casinos, gambling, and liquor.  If you’ve got the little ones with you (or you just have your own sweet tooth to obey), check out M&Ms World. With a variety of flavors, colors, and shapes. You can get M&M paraphernalia, from plates to stuffed M&Ms to lunchboxes. And, of course, you can fill a bag with all the M&Ms you could want. You can even monogram them with whatever your heart desires.

Natural History Museum

In Downtown Las Vegas, take the kids to the Natural History Museum! They’ll see enormous animatronic dinosaurs, learn about ancient Egypt, visit the African Rainforest, and more! Kids can also dig for fossils or pretend to be a marine biologist at the Young Scientist Center, which is equipped with modern technology, microscopes, and interactive exhibits.

Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat

Though it’s not so much a secret, but Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at the MGM is like a mini-zoo combined with a mini-Sea World. There are tigers, leopards, and lions, as well as a dolphin exhibit. Take the kids to see the dolphin show, and let them awe over the wildlife.
