WrestleMania 41 is set to hit Las Vegas on April 19-20, 2025 at Allegiant Stadium. WWE’s flagship event is the largest show in all of pro-wrestling and ThingsToDoInLasVegas will guide you through all the fantastic activities for you to enjoy. Tickets are on sale now and a sell-out is all but guaranteed. Whether you’re hitting the event live or attending a watch party, Sin City will be the center of the sports entertainment world. Here’s what you can expect during WrestleMania 41 week.
The Main Event: WrestleMania 41 at Allegiant Stadium
Originally a one-night event, WrestleMania has been a two-night show since 2020. This allows more WWE Superstars to participate in longer matches and better storytelling. Although the card isn’t set and will be subject to change, there are a few easy predictions to make now. Naturally, any plans and predictions can be undone through injury. Barring that, here’s what to expect from WrestleMania 41.
In the Men’s Corner
The Bloodline has been the hottest act in WWE for years. Originally led by “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns, the faction has been usurped by his cousin Solo Sikoa. Expect several matches at the top of the card to involve The OG Bloodline (Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and “Honorary Uce” Sami Zayn) facing off against the The New Bloodline (Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa).
The Bloodline vs. Bloodline showdown features many second- and third-generation pro-wrestlers, dating back to “High Chief” Peter Maivia. The most notable member of the family is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, grandson of Peter Maivia. The Rock played a massive role in WrestleMania 40 and is expected to do the same in WrestleMania 41. The current speculation is that he is the puppet master behind Solo Sikoa’s rise to power.
You may have heard this before, but did you know that wrestling has more than one royal family? “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes is expected to main event one of the WrestleMania 41 evenings. The son of the late, great “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, Cody has been the top babyface (good guy) in WWE since he returned to the company in 2022. Expect Cody to have a prominent spot at the top of the card.
CM Punk is another top babyface that returned to WWE after years away from the company. One of the reasons he left the company in 2014 was that he felt he was overlooked for the WrestleMania main event for several years. Could 2025 be the year he finally headlines “The Showcase of the Immortals”? Although Punk is undoubtedly one of the top stars in WWE, his age (46) and injury history may make it challenging to plan a main event around him.
Finally, there’s John Cena. One of the biggest WWE Superstars of all time and the benchmark of the company’s Ruthless Aggression Era, Cena has announced that he’ll be retiring from in-ring work in 2025. The year will serve as a farewell tour of sorts, with WrestleMania 41 being a major stop on the tour. There has been speculation that Cena will win one of the major men’s titles so that he can surpass Ric Flair’s record of 16 world championship reigns. Some are even speculating that Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena will be one of the main events.
In the Women’s Corner
Women’s wrestling is the best it has ever been in WWE, with dozens of fantastic female Superstars getting prominent spots on television cards and premium live events (PLEs). However, for the last year two women have stood above the rest – Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan. The pair have been at the top of the women’s card for most of 2024 and that’s expected to continue leading up to WrestleMania 41.
There is potential for an enormous shakeup in the women’s game through two expected returns. “The Queen” Charlotte Flair has been out of action with a knee injury and is expected to return soon. Many consider Charlotte to be one of the best of all time, and you can expect The Queen to demand a place at the top of the card.
Flair’s fellow “Four Horsewomen of Wrestling” Becky Lynch has been taking time off to focus on motherhood and resting her body from the rigors of the road. She’s also expected to be back soon, possibly in January when WWE content will be streamed globally on Netflix. That should give “The Man” Becky Lynch more than enough time to work her way towards the main event in April.
WWE has a number of female Superstars that are always in the main event mix. Bayley has been the division’s rock, able to work as a top babyface or heel while being able to work a great match with anyone. Iyo Sky has one of the most dynamic movesets in all of pro-wrestling and is always a threat to the title. Lash Legend has been making tremendous progress in the last year and could manage to fight her way to the top in 2025; she is one of the few six-footers in the women’s division and has an amazing look.
SmackDown and NXT Will Be a Big Part of WrestleMania 41 Weekend
Although the Saturday and Sunday evening cards of WrestleMania 41 are the focus of the week, there are two other major cards to enjoy leading up to the big show. On Friday evening, WWE SmackDown will take place at a venue to be determined. The final TV show before WrestleMania, SmackDown often tightens up the stories leading into the big show, sometimes with a major surprise up its sleeve.
NXT traditionally has its PLE in the early afternoon on the Saturday of WrestleMania 41 weekend. For people unfamiliar with NXT, it’s WWE’s developmental brand, where many of the Superstars of tomorrow work on their skills in and out of the ring. Many times, Superstars from the main roster will work with younger talent, serving as mentors for the NXT Superstars. Many hardcore wrestling fans appreciate the ring work in NXT, which is filled with newer talent with unique styles, many of whom are willing to take big risks to entertain fans and reach the main roster.
NXT also serves as a training ground for international stars to learn the WWE style and hone their promo skills. Two of the biggest attractions currently in NXT are Giulia (one of the biggest stars in Japan’s Stardom promotion) and Stephanie Vaquer (one of the best from Mexico’s Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre). Look for both women to make a major statement during WrestleMania 41 weekend, if they haven’t made it to the main roster by April.
ThingsToDoInLasVegas will update this section of the blog as soon as event details are released for SmackDown and NXT’s PLE.
WWE Hall of Fame and Fan Events
For longtime pro-wrestling fans, one of the highlights of WrestleMania weekend is the Hall of Fame Ceremony. During the event, Superstars from the past are honored for their contributions to the wrestling business. Speculation for 2025 inductees include Dave Batista, Sid Justice, The Hard Boyz, and Umaga. The venue and time for the WWE 2025 Hall of Fame Ceremony haven’t been announced yet. In the past, WWE has filmed the event after SmackDown, but has also held it at smaller, more intimate venues.
WWE also holds fan events during WrestleMania weekend. Fans will have the opportunity to meet WWE Superstars, get autographs, and take photos. These events often have memorabilia from past and present wrestlers, as well as unique opportunities, like being able to record your own original commentary to classic WWE matches.

Support Local Wrestling: Future Stars of Wrestling
If you happen to be in town for WrestleMania 41 weekend, then consider popping by a Future Stars of Wrestling (FSW) event. Las Vegas’ very own indie wrestling promotion, FSW has been a training ground for many current WWE Superstars. Zoe Stark and Karrion Kross are just two of the many WWE talents that have worked in FSW.
ThingsToDoInLasVegas will update this section of the blog as soon FSW announces its dates for WrestleMania 41 week. Don’t be surprised if other indie wrestling promotions make use of FSW Arena in April (hint, hint).
Celebrate with Your Fellow Smarks at The Nerd
One of my personal favorites in Las Vegas, The Nerd is frequented by many wrestling fans and pro-wrestlers. Don’t be surprised if you see one of your favorite pro-wrestlers there. In addition to an inventive drink menu, The Nerd features arcade games, videogame consoles, bowling lanes, and a mechanical…uh, ride.
Whether you’re a mark, smart, or smark, The Nerd is one of the best places in Las Vegas to drink with your fellow pro-wrestling fans.
