Las Vegas Distillery Re-Open for Business

Las Vegas Distillery Hours

Established on April 1, 2011, Las Vegas Distillery is known for being one of the most influential companies in Nevada’s burgeoning craft spirits industry. Its Nevada Vodka was the first legally-made spirit distilled in the state and the company’s founder, George Racz, was greatly responsible for the groundbreaking Nevada Craft Distillery Bill (AB153).

After shutting down for several months due to COVID-19 restrictions, this local distillery has announced that it’s once again open for tours, tastings, and shopping.

What Is Las Vegas Distillery?

Las Vegas Distillery is Nevada’s first post-Prohibition craft distillery. It creates a number of spirits, including bourbon, gin, vodka, and whiskey. It also offers unique liqueurs and “moonshine” products. People love the company for its unique and meticulously made alcoholic beverages.

Sounds Great! Where Is It?

Las Vegas Distillery is located at 7330 Eastgate Rd, Henderson, NV 89011. Coincidentally, the business park is also home to a pair of local breweries — CraftHaus Brewery and Bad Beat Brewing. This makes the location, quite possibly, the most entertaining business park for discerning drinkers in all of Nevada.

Why Should I Go There?

Las Vegas Distillery George's Bourbon
The limited edition “George’s Bourbon” has been aged since 2012 and is only available at Las Vegas Distillery.

Although the distillery’s whiskeys, bourbons, vodkas, and gins can be found in fantastic liquor stores throughout the state, it’s definitely worth visiting headquarters. You can sample a number of finely made spirits, take a tour of the facilities, and purchase some limited-edition bottles not available in stores.

For example, the company is currently selling George’s Bourbon only at its Henderson headquarters. This special release has been aged since 2012 and was meant to be released for the company’s anniversary. Since COVID-19 restrictions prevented that, George’s Bourbon was released in Fall 2020.

To help sustain its business during the pandemic, the distillery also offers Copper Angel Hand Sanitizer. Made with ethanol, glycerin, and hydrogen peroxide, this 80% alcohol blend meets World Health Organization guidelines. Copper Angel Hand Sanitizer is available in 8 ounce, 16 ounce, 1 gallon, and 5 gallon containers.

The company sold gallons of hand sanitizer to locals when it was scarce at big box and online stores. You can show your support for a great, local small business by picking up a bottle of spirits and some hand sanitizer.

Okay, I’m Sold. When Can I Go to Las Vegas Distillery?

Las Vegas Distillery is currently opened from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Store, tasting, and touring hours are subject to change based on Clark County’s and Nevada’s coronavirus policies.
