The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will be closing in February 2020 for remodeling and rebranding into Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.

This is one of the best hotels right off the strip and one of the most happening spots in town, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is home to Vegas’ top concert venue and pool, as well as with some of its top retail outlets and restaurants.
The main focus here is the music, from door handles which are shaped like guitars to its saxophone chandelier, all elements of the Hard Rock are designed to worship at the altar of rock. Music memorabilia hangs on the walls and along the hallways.
Be sure to check out jackets from the Ramones, U2 and Aerosmith. There are also drum kits, motorcycles, guitars and several costumes by Joan Jett, Christina Aguilera, Elton John and Madonna.

The casino’s Luxe Bar serves as ground zero for a parade of beautiful people each night. While Vanity nightclub is another option, it is only opened to the general public for parties and special events. Its decadent décor includes black chrome, rubbed brass and hand cut crystals.
The Joint is the resort’s crown jewel. The Rolling Stones, Sting, Ringo Starr, Green Day, Steely Dan, Ramones and many more have played at the original venue.
A larger, more modernized concert facility with the same name carries on tradition. Seating 4,000 people and offering a video/sound system that puts everyone else’s to shame, this facility is quickly gaining in popularity. Vinyl is a smaller venue with a speakeasy atmosphere that has also recently opened its doors. Its industrial look is now home to a variety of different bands each night.
The pool area consists of three different pools (Breathe Pool, Nirvana Pool and Paradise Beach). This lush area comes with tropical palms, sand beaches, swim up blackjack and private cabanas.
