The Pinball Hall of Fame is getting a major facelift. Not only is the massive arcade moving closer to the Strip (the new location will be located within walking distance of the Welcome to Las Vegas sign), it will also expand its collection of pinball machines from 250 to more than 700, making it among the largest working pinball machine collections in the world. Visitors can expect to see tons of vintage pinball machines from the 1940s and 1950s in the expanded collection.

Visit the Park West Fine Art Museum & Gallery

Now Open

World-famous art dealer Park West Gallery just opened a new and exciting fine art museum inside the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. The Park West Fine Art Museum & Gallery is open seven days a week and showcases 1,000 artwork every day. Works are available to buy that range from a few hundred dollars to over a million. The collection includes the largest collection of Picasso’s ceramic works on display in the world, plus art by Salvador Sali, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, and other well-known artists.

Experience Meow Wolf at AREA15

Now Open

AREA15 made a splash when it opened last year as Las Vegas’ first immersive art, food, and activity smorgasbord of its kind. Turns out, it’s only just getting started. In addition to thrill rides, shopping, food and drink, and a dash of axe-throwing, AREA15 will be getting a new art experience called Omega Mart in early 2021.

Omega Mart is the second permanent art installation by the New Mexico-based art collective Meow Wolf. This self-described “portal to the otherworldly” can’t be missed, with 52,000 square feet of visual and musical art.

Opening date TBA

The Convention Center Loop (pictured above) will cut down on walking time between buildings.

Elon Musk’s The Boring Company is making major headway on the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) Loop, an ambitious transportation project that’s bringing underground transit to Sin City. While the status of the project is still “under construction”, the loop is expected to be up and running sometime this year.

The LVCC loop will allow those attending large conventions and trade shows to quickly move from one side of the convention center to the other in as little as 60 seconds (as opposed to the current 15 minute walk). Autonomous electric vehicles (AEVs) will shuttle attendees through the underground tunnels at speeds of up to 155 miles per hour.

As if this project wasn’t high-reaching enough, The Boring Company is hoping to eventually execute an even bigger underground mass transit project called the Vegas Loop. It will be connected to the LVCC Loop with express connections to McCarran International Airport, all major properties along the Strip, Allegiant Stadium, and downtown Las Vegas.
