10 Las Vegas Shows Reopening on the Strip

Las Vegas shows reopening

It’s been almost eight months since the curtains were lowered on dozens of world-class shows that call the Las Vegas Strip home. But according to a press release from MGM Resorts, that’s all about to change, with seven iconic Las Vegas shows reopening beginning on November 6, 2020

Find out which shows are coming back, where to buy tickets, and what safety protocols to expect with this guide from Things To Do In Las Vegas.

How Is MGM Keeping Audiences Safe During the Pandemic?

MGM Resorts says it remains committed to keeping guests and show members safe through its “Convene with Confidence” live entertainment health protocols, which have been in the works over the past seven months. From buying tickets to exiting the venue, MGM Resorts has thought of everything:

  • Seating capacities have been reduced and modified to allow for appropriate physical distancing between parties.
  • Venues, backstage areas, and restrooms will be cleaned and sanitized before, between, and after shows with a focus on high-touch areas.
  • Personal protective equipment will be required for all staff and audience members. Hand sanitizer will be available for guests, and staff will be provided with gloves as necessary.
  • Before entering the venue, all guests will be subject to health screenings and temperature checks.
  • Digital tickets and contactless ticket scanning will be available.
  • Mobile ordering and designated pickup areas with enforced social distancing will be used for concessions.
  • Restroom capacity has been reduced to avoid overcrowding.
  • Upon exiting the venue, ushers will ensure that guests continue to social distance.

All MGM Resorts Las Vegas shows reopening on November 6, 2020 will also be in compliance with a statewide mandate allowing no more than 250 guests in each audience and maintaining a distance of at least 25 feet between the stage and the closest audience member.
